Imagine. Iterate. Inspire.

Artist Style Database is provided as-is, free of charge, with no formal support offering. What follows is honest documentation of what it is and what it is not.

The Short Version

No support is offered. The app is free. It does what it says it does.

If it does not work on your device, we are sorry. We cannot fix it for you individually.

Common Questions

Why is an artist missing?

The database was seeded from publicly available lists of artists recognized by AI image generation models. If an artist is not in the database, they were not on those lists, or their entry did not survive the audit process. The dataset is pre-release and ongoing. Future updates may add entries.

A description seems wrong or generic.

The database has completed one full audit pass. A second pass has not yet begun. Some entries from the original generation may still be imprecise. This is a known limitation of the current release. The dataset is improving over time.

Can I suggest an artist or correction?

Not formally. The dataset is curated by a single independent developer working on a long-term project. Suggestions cannot be individually reviewed or responded to.

The app crashed or behaves unexpectedly.

The dataset is bundled locally. The app requires no internet connection and has no backend to fail. If you are experiencing crashes, ensure your iOS version is current. Beyond that, no individual troubleshooting is available.

Can I use this commercially?

The app is free to use. The underlying dataset is planned for a separate open release on GitHub under a Creative Commons BY-NC-SA license. No timeline is set. When released, it will be free to use for non-commercial purposes with attribution required. Commercial use of the dataset requires separate permission.
